René Swar

Director of Wellness

I have been in the fitness industry for 33 years and love helping others make fitness a part of their lifestyle. I get a lot of satisfaction watching people discover that they can move and challenge themselves in a way previously thought not possible. At Rose Villa we promote a culture of wellness across our campus incorporating the six dimensions of wellness; emotional, intellectual, physical, social, spiritual and vocational. My job is to develop and implement the RiverPoint Wellness programming for every fitness level and ability. I am a Certified Personal Trainer and teach group fitness classes to both residents and staff and enjoy working one on one with residents to achieve their fitness goals. I also coach Rose Villa's Viking Dragon boat during the Rose Festival races.
